Approaching the Lit Review (Online) Online
In this workshop, students will learn how to approach the literature review. Topics covered include:
- structuring the research question using PICO approach
- identifying stakeholders and database selection
- devising effective search techniques
- tools for keeping track of results.
Instructor(s):
Berika Williams (she/her) is a Research and Instruction Librarian at Ginn Library at the Fletcher School. Berika consults with students, faculty, and staff on search strategies to help with their research. She also teaches workshops on citation management and data-related skills needed in research.
Amy LaVertu (she/her) is a Research and Instruction Librarian at the Hirsh Health Sciences Library. Amy is the librarian liaison to the Friedman School of Nutrition as the departments of Psychiatry and Geographic Medicine & Infectious Disease.
